Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops are increasingly efficient, passing our cleaning tests and tackling various floor types. Choose models that allow you to select between a variety of modes, self-empty and clean stairs.
A lot of the top models integrate with your smartphone. Check for an app that allows you to save maps, create schedules and select cleaning options.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The black and gloss gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations available. It uses lidar to navigate, and create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels) and integrates with the free Eufy Clean application that lets you set up schedules and modify the behavior of the S1.
When I tested the S1 It was quick to map our downstairs, which is home to Linoleum flooring in the kitchen/dining room and bathrooms, as well as carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It was capable of driving close to walls and even over raised thresholds without issue. However it had some issues getting down the stairs in one step. The S1 performed admirably in cleaning hard floors. The mop sped along on its flat side and raised itself when it came to carpets or rug.
The S1's docking station automatically empties its trash bin and replenishes its onboard water tank with clean, ozonated water prior to each mopping session. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1's water tank can hold enough water for around 12 cleaning sessions before it needs to be emptied, though this will vary depending on how much you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires periodic maintenance to ensure it is operating well. For this, you'll need to rinse out the water tank that is dirty regularly to prevent it from clogging. You will also need to clean your sensor and swivel wheel frequently to prevent them from getting blocked by dirt or dust. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs' all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop provides an effective solution to your cleaning needs. Its robot vacuum boasts 8700Pa of suction and comes with numerous innovative features, including full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning to avoid obstacles and cleans furniture. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive. Rotating mop pads actually lift floors and scrub it, rather than just dragging a pad across the surface. The mops are also cleaned and dried in the base station as required.
This robot combo is easy to set up and use, with a simple interface that walks you through the process. It includes an electric hand vacuum that can be recharged for those hard-to-reach areas that the robot isn't able to reach, as well as two water tanks that are automatically emptied and filled when required. It also has a range of settings that can be used to fine tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a great vacuum cleaner. It has a powerful suction that can easily pick up dust and debris that other robots have difficulty with. Its navigation capabilities are good, too, even though it does sometimes get hung in the small area mats or rugs that I have in my home (which is something you can reduce by creating a virtual boundary within the application). Its mopping capabilities are also very good and include a pair of mop heads that can lift and scrub the floor instead of simply drag the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station as needed. The mops are also refilled from the top of the base station as required.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. But their latest flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It has fantastic cleaning results and is simple to maintain. This makes it a worthy contender for our top list of mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and an extended side brush ensure an effective, customized cleaning is completed.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming and removing large and small particles from hard floors as well as carpets. It was able to clean the dirtiest areas of our tests well, avoiding pet hairs and other dirt. The sweeping capability of the machine is boosted by a sidebrush which automatically moves out to reach hard-to-reach areas, and mop pads that extend along baseboards.
Its navigation is nimble, navigating tight spaces and negotiating the stairs without a hitch. It can move from one room to another without reversing direction which is a great feature for larger homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is not as advanced than that of some competitors and leaves a wide margin over obstacles. This can lead to miss-hit spots.
The interface of the app is simple and well-organized. It should be simple to use by both novice and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleaning tasks. You can also alter the suction power, mop settings, and look up 3-D and 2-D maps. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. You will require a reliable WiFi connection to run the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
Robot vacuums are fantastic at removing dirt and debris but they can't reach every speck of dust. This is why it's crucial to use your regular vacuum at least once every week, and especially to remove dust from corners, on shelves, and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot designed specifically for this purpose. It's easy to connect it to your home WiFI network and also works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the company's more pricier S-series models, including the flagship Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it is cheaper because it does not have mopping capabilities and comes with an aluminum body.
Even though it's not able to mop floors, the Q5 still has the best mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robotic in this price range. It has a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an automatic-empty system that means you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It comes with a smart application which allows you to schedule cleaning times and determine the floor type. vacuum bot has an automatic water tank filling system and washing system for hands-free operation.
Its mops are also impressive, with 2700Pa of power to take on dirt, dust and pet hair on carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was among the few robots that we tested to not have a problem with high-pile area carpets and rugs. However, it could not handle kitty litter or cable tangles. This isn't too surprising because it doesn't contain AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the quietest robot vacuums we have tested, it also uses a unique system to map your home this allows it to get into the corners and tight spaces that other vacuums are unable to reach. The device also collects dust in a bigger dustbin which means you need to empty it less often. Additionally, it has washable filters that further lower the cost of using the device. The robot is also able to detect carpets and increase suction if required. The app allows you to mark areas that you want it to avoid this is a useful feature.
